PLACES OF JAPAN 07 - “KOCHI”

I took this photo through a window atop the frigid Kochi Castle in Kochi, Japan.

Bit of advise for anyone who may ever visit Kochi Castle in late December… Always wear the complimentary sandals! You are not allowed to wear shoes in the castle, and my biggest regret in life is refusing the complimentary sandals thinking that I’d be fine walking around in my tube socks on the frigid wooden floors. I had no idea that wood, or Japan for that matter, could get so cold.
