THANK YOU AMERIKANA MAGAZINE!
Note: It runs on Tumblr, follow it now!
So a few days back I received a really nice email from a really great photographer by the name of Sam Dickey. Somehow he had found some of my photos on Flickr and asked if I would like to talk about them in the form of an interview for Amerikana Magazine. I checked out Amerikana, saw how amazing it was, got really excited, and then immediately thought “woah, every other photographer interviewed so far is way more talented and eloquent than I could ever be”. Fortunately my wife, and Sam, convinced me to give it a shot and I’m sure glad that I did. Sam’s wonderful introduction paragraph in-and-of-itself made my participation 100% worthwhile. Thank you Sam!
That being said, I know that most of you who follow this blog are into photography so please do yourself a favor and follow Amerikana Magazine. That’s right, it runs on Tumblr! It’s so nice that someone out there like Sam is giving aspiring photographers this kind of wonderful exposure. Seriously, his blog is really well done. Also, while you’re at it, please join his Amerikana Flickr Group as well.
Happy Tuesday!
