COUCH JUMPERS

When Mad Max went beyond Thunderdome in 1985 things were, well, different.  Buckets were now helmets, pine cones were now currency, and shoeboxes were now shoes.  Oh, and couches were no longer things you sat on to knit sweaters for your dog, they were moon bounces.

I wonder why,

this private eye,

likes to spy,

on miss shanghai.

She likes to type,

about a hare,

that has a gripe,

with mister bear.

YELLOW BROWN

While working on her novel in her vacation dream home Dorothy notices an odd fellow taking snapshots of her through the window. He has his eyes on the broken typewriter, she has her eyes on a potentially loaded revolver, and Rigby, the miniature Saint Bernard, has his eyes on the real prize… the turkey jerky in the man’s back pocket.
